An ideal place for discovery

Located 60 miles east of Los Angeles, California Baptist University is one of the fastest-growing private Christian universities in the region.  CBU’s 200-acre suburban Riverside campus is located between Southern California beaches and mountain resorts—an ideal place for Engineering students to discover and live their God-given purpose.

CBU offers the expansive range of academic programs and student support services you would expect from a large university while preserving the vibrant social and spiritual life that makes small schools so appealing. CBU students can enjoy a mouthwatering menu at the University’s spacious cafeteria, a cool swim in the enormous pool in the Lancer Aquatics Center, solitude in the historic Annie Gabriel Library, school pride at athletic events, and spiritual renewal at weekly chapel meetings.

An Engineering degree tells an employer that you have learned how to learn and that you have persevered. The College of Engineering places an emphasis on developing a heart and mind for engineering as service. Taking Christ’s attitude of service into the classroom yields a collaborative environment where each person cares as much about their fellow classmates’ success as their own.

Students will learn, collaborate, and experiment in CBU’s brand-new Engineering Building. At 100,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art facility accommodates three stories of classrooms and labs. Each CBU Engineering student will experience a wide variety of hands-on learning activities, including local business internships and cross-cultural projects. As a result, CBU Engineering students don’t just know engineering—they become skilled and experienced engineers.
