Strong is a mindset

Meredith College is one of the largest private women’s colleges in the United States. Each student is challenged to think deeply, push hard, discover new strengths, and grow even stronger. Meredith offers a highly personal education and access to exceptional internship, research, study abroad, and community-based opportunities. Through StrongPoints®, a Meredith personal coaching initiative, students identify and explore their strengths and develop a plan for achieving academic, personal, professional, and financial success.

Build the world you want to live in
Meredith’s lush 225-acre campus is located in the vibrant capital city of Raleigh, North Carolina, near the renowned Research Triangle Park. The College offers over 90 majors, minors, and concentrations as well as the option to design your own major. Those who want to pursue law, dentistry, medicine, and other medical fields can participate in pre-professional programs that combine foundational coursework with clinical experience and work-study programs. Students have recently completed internships with Credit Suisse, Lenovo, GlaxoSmithKline, Merrill Lynch, SAS Institute, Wake County Public Schools, and many more.

Deepen your learning
Study abroad options include a semester-long program in Sansepolcro, Italy, with additional opportunities worldwide. An honors program for exceptional students offers colloquium classes, individualized study and research, and travel. Other scholar programs include Teaching Fellows, and STEM Scholars. The Undergraduate Research Program supports student-faculty partnerships in all fields.

Prepare for the life you want to lead
With more than 24,000 living alumnae, students benefit from a strong network of colleagues and friends. Meredith Mentors, an exclusive online networking platform, helps students connect with professionals in their fields.
