At Cleveland State University, a distinct purpose, pride, and passion connect students to each other and their surroundings. We call it engagedlearning, and it’s what makes the University special.

Engaged learning means students can experience hands-on, real-world learning opportunities in the heart of a major metropolitan city. Work side-by-side with respected professors on cutting-edge technologies andresearch. Intern or co-op at world-renowned organizations like the Cleveland Clinic and Cleveland Indians, and businesses such as Sherwin Williams and KeyBank. And join one of more than 200 student organizations that featuresomething for everyone, from academic and social clubs to intramural sports and community service.

Best of all—engaged learning is fun. It’s the laughter of new friends living on our modern campus and the sounds of the city out our windows.
