We welcome transfer students into our close, supportive community, helping you realize your potential and achieve your goals. With access to 100 academic programs offered on campus, fully online, and in hybrid formats as well as multiple student involvement opportunities and support services, transfer students can make a seamless transition to Madonna University. We also work with many Michigan community colleges to review and compare curriculum to help facilitate an easy transfer. 

We understand the unique needs of transfer students and help you maximize your transfer credits. You can transfer up to 74 credit hours from a two-year school and 90 from a four-year school. We also conduct a holistic review of each applicant by assessing your academic achievements, community experience, and extracurricular involvement.

We build and evaluate our online courses based on rigorous, research-supported standards, which ensures these courses promote engagement and provide students with all the tools and information they need to be successful learners. 

Receive credit for military experience
Madonna University has been named a Military Friendly® School three years in a row by GI Jobs and the Michigan Department of Veteran Affairs. We highly encourage veterans to submit your Joint Services Transcript (JST) during the admission process to maximize the use of your military training and experience. We accept up to 60 military credits toward a bachelor’s degree. Visit the JST website to request your official transcript.
