Hands-on, experiential learning
WLC students learn science by doing science. This provides a far more meaningful experience than watching videos or computer simulations. Learning should not be a spectator sport! 

Meaningful clinical experiences
With the Milwaukee Regional Medical Center right across the street, WLC students have plenty of options for obtaining experience in health care settings. Current students are employed in patient care roles at Froedtert Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, and other nearby health care facilities. Others find internships, job shadowing opportunities, and undergraduate research experiences at the Versiti Blood Research Institute or the Medical College of Wisconsin. 

Immersive learning alongside expert faculty
Wisconsin Lutheran College’s expert faculty work directly with students who want research experience—often culminating in poster presentations. Accelerated dual-degree opportunities
Wisconsin Lutheran College has partnered with several other colleges and universities to establish articulation agreements in a variety of health science fields that virtually guarantee you a seat in an advanced degree program if you get the right grades in the right courses at WLC. These partnerships give WLC students the opportunity to earn two degrees in a shorter amount of time, allowing you to save on tuition costs and enter the workplace sooner.
