More than ready—Loyola ready

Loyola University Maryland’s time-tested, distinctly taught Jesuit approach to education allows students to master the skills and develop the knowledge and traits they need to learn, lead, and serve in our diverse and ever-changing world. Your experiences here will be some of the most transformative of your life—as well as some of the most rewarding. These experiences will help you become even more than you thought you could be: more knowledgeable, capable, confident, and committed to changing lives—others’ and your own. You’ll be prepared and eager to face whatever the future holds in your life and career that follow.

Mentorship and guidance
With a student-faculty ratio of approximately 12:1 and an average class size of 20 students, our undergraduates are individually taught—and taught as individuals. Deep, meaningful, and sustained mentorship and guidance will be the anchor of your Loyola education.

Career preparation
From the first day you step on Loyola’s campus until the day you graduate, you’ll be asking and answering fundamental questions about who you are and what you love. Here, you’ll discover and build a path that connects you to your values and passions—leading you to your dreams.

A Jesuit liberal arts education
Depth of knowledge and breadth of experience; intellectual rigor and the ability to understand and consider diverse points of view—the future demands it all. And so do the Jesuits—so does Loyola.

Greyhound Nation
Greyhound Nation is a talented, driven, intellectually curious community that’ll inspire, encourage, and empower you to put your all into everything you do. With just under 4,000 undergraduates from 40 states, six continents, and more than 40 countries, Loyola is big enough to inspire and challenge you yet small enough to be welcoming, personal, and accessible.
