The application process is more streamlined than ever as you can apply using the Common Application, which fills out the bulk of your information if you’re using it to apply to universities across the country. The University has adopted a test-optional admission policy, meaning prospective students with a 3.2 GPA or higher aren’t required to submit SAT or ACT scores when applying. If you choose not to submit test scores, we’ll use GPA to gauge academic achievement and essay questions to determine whether you’re a good fit for Bethel’s faith-centered learning environment—both are important factors in selecting students who are likely to be successful at Bethel.

Here, 99% of incoming first-year students receive some kind of aid from the University. Once you’re accepted to Bethel, we’re dedicated to helping you make the most out of scholarships, grants, and loans so college expenses don’t stand in the way of your degree. Join our community of Christ-followers and live for something more.

An Inside Look

What students are saying about us...

  • “I was talking to some bigger schools, and they were great. But you can’t beat the culture at Bethel, and the people are super nice. I love how it’s football mixed with a great community and a love for God.”

    • Luke Brandt '24
  • “At Bethel, I’ve been especially encouraged by the female presence in both the Biology and Chemistry departments. There are so many strong female role models who have shown me the importance and value of women in STEM.”

    • Anna Swensen '20
  • “Bottom line: students on campus want Jesus. They want more of Him. They want to experience what it looks like to live in true community with each other as we’re chasing after the Lord.”
