Why Albright?

Founded in 1856, Albright College is a diverse community of learners cultivating integrity, curiosity, connection, and resilience. The college’s flexible curriculum encourages students to combine and cross majors to create individualized academic programs. Close faculty mentorship and numerous experiential learning options create opportunities for Albright graduates to exceed their own expectations.

A collaborative, supportive approach to learning
Albright students are challenged to see the world in different ways by professors who are dedicated mentors and experts in their fields. With a close-knit community like Albright, professors know students on an individual basis. In fact, many students work one-on-one with faculty mentors through programs like the Albright Creative Research Experience (ACRE). Albright’s unique January Interim term allows students to complete coursework and engage in travel guided by faculty to locales such as Costa Rica, Ecuador, Hawaii, and more.

An inclusive living-learning community
Albright is a supportive, 24/7 residential community with more than 70 student groups, honor societies, and clubs; Greek life; and a variety of affinity houses—all offering opportunities for leadership and service. More than 30% of undergraduates participate on Albright’s 24 varsity athletic teams, for which the quality of your educational experience and successful degree completion are priorities. Albright’s four-year shared community living experience aims to enhance students’ social, intellectual, and interpersonal growth, resulting in better grades and outcomes.
