We offer a challenging curriculum taught in small classes where your professors know you by name (thanks to a 12:1 student-faculty ratio), inspiring you to succeed. Our strong focus on career readiness gives you access to over 1,000 internship sites as well as career exploration and support through our brand-new Delbridge Career Center.

Easy transferring, great scholarships, and free room
Transferring has never been easier, and we also make it affordable! Our Transfer Merit Scholarships range from $11,000–$18,000 each year you attend WNE. Are you currently earning your associate degree? With a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher and an associate, you qualify for the $18,000 Transfer Distinction Award. And starting this spring, we’re offering free room for transfer students through the Golden Bear Housing Award. This annual award for your housing costs will be $7,440 per year as long as you remain a full-time student, maintain satisfactory academic progress, and purchase a WNE meal plan.

Advising and support just for you
Imagine having a team of advisors just for you—that’s the idea behind our 4U Comprehensive Advising Program, which gives you your own personal team of four advisors (peer, faculty, career, and University) to keep you on track for success the entire time you’re at WNE. You’ll also have access to free tutoring in our Math, Writing, and Science Centers. Our campus offers over 70 clubs and organizations, including our Commuter Council, to help you become an active member of what we call the G-Bear family.
