  • Kansas State University's lecture series has drawn seven US presidents, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, and international leaders Mikhail Gorbachev and Vicente Fox. Inaugurated in 1966 by former university President James A. McCain, the series is a tribute to the late Kansas Gov. Alfred M. Landon.
